Telehandler & Aerial Lift Financing
Construction › Telehandlers & Aerial Lifts
Telehandlers and aerial lifts put material and crews where the work is: trusses on the roof, steel at the second floor, electricians at the ceiling. Since 2011, Sunset Financial Group has financed more than 75 telehandlers and aerial lifts for home builders, commercial contractors, steel erectors and specialty trades.
Most telehandlers and lifts cost between about $20,000 and $60,000, so telehandler and lift financing is usually approved quickly, and owning the machine often costs less than keeping one on rent.
Lifts We Finance
Rough-Terrain Telehandlers
Telehandlers with about 6,000 to 9,000 lb capacity and 42- to 44-foot reach. The type we finance most.
Compact Telehandlers
Smaller reach lifts for residential sites and tight spaces.
Articulating Boom Lifts
Boom lifts that reach up and over obstacles, in electric and engine-powered models.
Straight Boom Lifts
Telescopic booms for maximum height and outreach, such as 60-foot models.
Scissor Lifts
Electric slab scissor lifts for interior work, from 19- to 32-foot working heights.
Tracked Spider Lifts
Compact tracked lifts that fit through doorways and set up on uneven ground.
What We Have Financed
Scissor Lifts
About 19 to 32 ft
Electric scissor lifts for drywall, electrical, insulation and interior work.
Boom Lifts
About 33 to 60 ft
Articulating and straight booms for exterior, steel and ceiling work.
Telehandlers
6,000 to 9,000 lb, 42 to 44 ft
Rough-terrain telehandlers for framing, roofing material and steel.
Telehandlers and lifts we have financed range from about $22,000 for a used boom lift or a new scissor lift to more than $70,000 for a new tracked spider lift.
Finance the Whole Setup
A lift often comes with more than the machine. These can all be included in the same agreement:
- Fork carriages, buckets and truss booms
- Work platforms and jibs
- A second lift for the same crew
- A trailer to move it between jobs
- Delivery from the seller
- Sales tax and registration
Why Contractors Own Their Lifts
Cut Rental Costs
Contractors who rent a lift on most jobs often pay less with a monthly payment on their own.
Faster Framing and Roofing
A telehandler sets trusses, sheathing and roofing material without a crane.
Safer Work at Height
A proper boom or scissor lift replaces ladders and scaffolding for overhead work.
