Trailer Financing

Trucking & Transportation › Trailers

More trailers mean more loads for the same tractor. Since 2011, Sunset Financial Group has financed more than 150 trailers, from 7,000-pound utility and dump trailers to 53-foot drop decks, live-floor and lowboy semi-trailers.

Trailer financing is often approved quickly because most trailers cost less than a truck. We finance trailers from dealers, manufacturers and private sellers.

Sizes We Have Financed

Utility & Bumper-Pull

Up to about 22 feet

Dump and utility trailers for contractors and service businesses.

Gooseneck

Up to about 26 feet

Gooseneck dump and equipment trailers pulled by heavy-duty pickups.

Semi-Trailers

48 to 53 feet

Drop decks, dry vans, reefers, live floors and lowboys.

Trailers we have financed range from about $4,000 for a utility trailer to $125,000 for a new heavy dump trailer.

Finance the Whole Setup

A trailer often needs a few extras before it can haul. These can all be included in the same agreement:

  • Tarps and tarp systems
  • Ramps, winches and tie-downs
  • Tires
  • Sales tax, title and registration
  • Delivery

Why Carriers Add Trailers

Haul More Loads

An extra trailer lets one tractor drop and hook instead of waiting to load.

Take On Specialized Freight

Flatbed, lowboy and dump work often pays more than dry van freight.

Stop Renting

Owning the trailer ends rental fees and lets you choose your own equipment.
